Iku Higuchi

Art is in search of Soul. I was born in Japan but came to America to study at at the Museum School (at Tufts University) in Boston which I heard is one of the top 3 art universities in the world. I studied fine art thoroughly and I was blessed with the opportunity to express my inner world – bringing out my intellectual excitement about everything, including Art, Philosophy, History, Religion, all in search of Soul.

 

I went on to receive my Masters in Fine Art at The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. I have lived in Manhattan for more than 30 years and have been fortunate to have had residencies around the United States and Japan and have been invited to exhibit my work all around the World.
