2024 Gramercy Art Show Launch

Calling all artists! Apply to the Gramercy Art Show by April 8th!

The Gramercy Art Show (G|A|S) is Gramercy’s longest running independent art event, and is sponsored by Gramercy Neighborhood Associates, the oldest community organization in Gramercy Park (since 1912) and one of the oldest in New York City.

 ,

First launched in the early 20th century from a private salon on Gramercy Park, the 2024 juried show takes place at the famed Salmagundi Art Club in NYC for one week, starting on Monday April 29, 2024 and ending on Friday May 3, 2024, with an awards reception on the evening of Thursday, May 2, 2024.  A corresponding online show begins on April 28 (one day prior to the in-person show), and runs throughout the year at www.gramercyartshow.com.  Artists have the opportunity to promote and sell their work both online and at the in-person show.  Art in any medium is accepted, and the “Call For Artists” deadline is April 8, 2024 (with a possible extension tba).  Additional artist incentives include reduced entry fees, which have been rolled back to 2012 prices.

Honors in various categories will be awarded at the May 2 reception, including G|A|S’s uber-popular BEST IN SHOW - AUDIENCE CHOICE AWARD.  Starting on April 29, 2024, the public can cast their vote for AUDIENCE CHOICE at www.gramercyartshow.com/vote.

Although the Gramercy Art Show has grown in popularity to showcase the work of distinguished artists from around the world, its core mission remains to welcome and promote the work of emerging local artists.  .Apply to the Gramercy Art Show at www.gramercyartshow.com/apply, and follow G|A|S on Facebook and Instagram for the latest updates.
